Sites are level. General condition of the camp is below average. Manager was extremely helpful and willing to accommodate us however she could. Campground had a number of seasonal sites, most were packed up for the winter. This campground is acceptable for a one night stay if you get in a pinch. Having said that, we would not return. CAUTION:if you stay here, do not attempt to enter from the south if you are in a big rig. The sign is hard to spot so follow the directions exactly as provided by the campground website.

Excellent place to spend a few days while touring Asheville. Site are large and level. Great cable channel lineup, excellent Wi-Fi signal, and very helpful staff. All hookups are conveniently located. Very nice setting on the side of a mountain. Many comments about the steep hills. Don't worry about it. You are in the mountains and the staff will provide an escort to your site. Our 40 ft. class A navigated through the park with ease.

Nice campground. Pull throughs are very large and grassy. Good satellite reception. Outstanding for an overnight stop. Easy in/out. Noticed what seemed to be a nice area in the woods with additional campsites but did not explore.

It is a nice campground in a beautiful wooded setting. It has a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Interior roads, etc. were more than adequate to accommodate our 40 ft. motorhome with the tow vehicle attached. The site provided ample space for our 4 slides. The owners were very accommodating in helping us get a site that allowed satellite reception (#54). We would definitely stay here again.

One of the best we have stayed in after being on the road for nearly 9 months. Meticulously maintained grounds and spacious gravel campsites. Lots of grass and beautiful views. No problem obtaining satellite signal in most sites. Be sure to specify if you need this when making your reservation. The owners are very accommodating and will work with you to be sure you have what you need. Very convenient to Skyline Drive. We stayed 6 nights and hope to have a chance to visit again. Note the website is outdated and does not accurately represent how nice this campground is.

Very nice campground. Convenient to get to and very well maintained. Some reviews complained about tight conditions but we did not find this to be a problem for our 40 ft. 4 slide motorhome. Office staff is helpful. They provide an escort to your site and help you get parked. Some sites allow a clear view for satellite reception but be sure to request this if you need it. We would stay again.

One of the best campgrounds we have visited. There is nothing to worry about here: large sites, level, well placed hookups, interior roads are large and in great condition. No problem getting a satellite signal. Most importantly, the management is very very nice. They will go well beyond the call of duty to make sure you are happy and have what you need. We would definitely return.

A very nice park: neat, clean and very well maintained. We had a premium site which gives you some grass, a fire ring and a little more room. Owners are onsite and very helpful. This is a great base to visit Yellowstone from. We stayed 8 nights and will definitely return when visiting Yellowstone again. Note that the price paid reflects the weekly rate.

This is an impressive campground and is definitely resort quality. Easy in/out and the hookups are very well located with multiple options for sewer connections. Has an extensive cable TV lineup and is satellite friendly. Has large sites with very well maintained grounds. The office staff was friendly. However for an overnight stay, it is a bit pricey in my opinion. Unfortunately there are few cheaper alternatives that can accommodate a large rig. We would stay here again.

This campground is perfect for a one night stop over. It is not fancy but offers nice, level pull-through sites with very easy access, hookups and a nice picnic table on a concrete slab. You can leave your tow vehicle hooked up: plenty of room. Some reviewers have complained about the I-29 traffic noise. For me, it was no big deal. If the windows are closed and you have A/C or the TV on it is fine. Again this is a reasonably priced stop over, not a resort! We have stayed here twice and would return again. One tip: when you pull in, go directly to the back of the property where the campground and select your spot. No need to check in with the office (gas station) until you are settled. They do not preassign spaces.

This is a great place. It's located just outside the gate to Custer State Park which offers good hiking, fishing and scenic drives. Also easy to get to Mt. Rushmore. We spent 7 nights. They have large sites: level and well groomed. The campground staff was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Please note, I am not entirely sure of the exact rate I paid, so I estimated.
